The LightWELD Cobot System combines a LightWELD laser source designed for safe operation with a robot arm purpose-built for safe collaboration with humans in close proximity.

  • A variety of safety interlocks prevent operation by unintended operators or when the welding area is not secure
  • Emergency stop buttons on the robot and laser shut down the system instantly
  • Rounded robotic arm geometry with power and force limiting prevents injury
  • Robot automatically stops upon contact with unexpected obstructions
