IPG will showcase high-speed laser curing of freshly powder-coated parts. Laser heating, which utilizes projection optics to cover a wide area with laser light, is an eco-friendly solution that provides significantly greater energy efficiency, faster drying and curing times, and enhanced process control compared to traditional methods like convection ovens and infrared lamps.
During the demo, we will spray a sample with powder coat and cure it in under two minutes, highlighting the efficiency of their laser heating technology.
