The Laser Drilling Workcell provides automated drilling of complex-profile
industrial parts. Featuring a QCW high-pulse energy laser that provides
high coupling efficiency with a wide range of metals, including highly
reflective materials, the system includes a 6-axes robot system and
laser processing head packaged within a Class 1 laser safe enclosure.
To maximize utilization of the fiber laser source, the Drilling workcell can
support cutting or welding with optional automated switching between functions.
Due to the modular design of the Drilling Robotic Workcells, a wide choice of
laser powers and system options, IPG offers custom configurations
optimized for specific applications.
