Compact Ultra-long-haul (ULH) System

IPG Photonics’ 2RU ULH system is an economical companion to the 8RU, 16 Input/Output (I/O) slot shelf. The shelf is equipped with two load-sharing power supplies and a control unit (CU). The CU provides status monitoring, control and adjustment of the installed blades and hosts the SNMP Management Information Base (MIB) for the system. The 2RU ULH shelf is ideally suited to very long distances in single-channel optical transmission applications including high voltage electrical power, transportation and pipeline telemetry networks. Up to 90 dB of optical budget can be supported in this compact configuration.
